DEThe owner of the camp has assembled a great team of commited people. They provided us with everything: information, transport, guide and superb food. In fact, you can have the camp arrange your game drives in the Masai Mara and your transport from and to Nairobi, all at very competetive rates. The owner, Magdy, will explain everything to you through WhatsApp. All the accomodation and facilities are safe and clean (but opt for the larger and more comfortable rooms!). I did a lot of research before my booking, and I think Greenwood (also recommended in the Lonely Planet guide book, by the way) is among the best choices, if you are on a budget. Go there!
There is already some wildlife to be discovered around the camp, which is great, but some photos came out nicer, if empty plastic bottles would be removed more rigorously. This does not refer to the grounds of the camp themselves (which are very well maintained), but to some of the adjacent area.
GBThe owner Magdy and all the staff were fantastic, from the cook and the waiting staff, to the security guard keeping us safe at night. The food was fresh and tasty and came in generous portions. We saw lots of wildlife around the camp including a crocodile eating a baboon in the river! The river and camp made for great birdwatching too. We read several travel blogs before booking and Greenwood was mentioned time and time again as one of the best budget campsites and it certainly didn't disappoint.

ESMuy buena relación calidad - precio. Está muy cerca de la puerta de acceso para empezar el safari. La chef cocina excelente y todos los trabajadores son muy amables y atentos. Han hecho nuestra estancia super agradable.
ITThe position is excellent, you can't get closer to Talek Gate. It's amazing to have animals wandering around the camp. The staff is very kind and the food is very very good.
The first day we had some problem with the wifi connection, but the second day the manager resolved it. After that the connection went well. Same problem with hot water, resolved once signalled to the manager. Overall, the staff is very kind and friendly but if the manager is not present some issues stay unresolved until his arrival.
ATESBusqué y me informé mucho sobre alojamientos en la zona para disfrutar de la estancia y de los safaris en Masai Mara porque me decidí a montar el viaje por nuestra cuenta y quería elegir bien y no encontré nada mejor que Greenwood por situación, calidad precio, servicios...Desde que reservé y hasta que me he ido, he tenido respuesta inmediata de Magdy, el dueño, resolviendo cualquier duda, ofreciéndome servicio de recogida en Nairobi puerta a puerta, safaris de día completo o medio día (a un precio súper bueno despues de comparar)...lo que necesitara. Me pareció muy responsable y serio con su trabajo y finalmente le contraté los servicios de transporte y safari a él y no me equivoqué. Todo superó nuestras expectativas con creces. El alojamiento (el nuestro fue en cabaña), fue perfecto, habitación amplia, muy limpia, cama comodísima, baño amplio y con agua caliente todo el día, wifi, comida muy rica y abundante preparada por Panina con unos buñuelos de banana riquísimos, personal súper agradable, pendientes de cualquier necesidad y dispuestos a ayudar en todo, sonrientes, en fin, esas gente que hace que la experiencia se enriquezca muchísimo. También está Dan, que controla continuamente durante toda la noche para dar seguridad a los huéspedes. Realmente un acierto si quieres tener la mejor estancia en la zona de Nasai Mara. Además está a 2 minutos en coche de la puerta Talec del PN Mara, eso ayuda a no tener que madrugar más de la cuenta y la relación calidad/precio es inmejorable. El servicio de recogida y regreso a Nairobi fue muy cómodo y súper puntual, el safari fue perfecto y a precio súper competitivo (yo no vi mejores precios), el 4×4 muy cómodo y el chófer hizo lo posible para que fuera una experiencia de 10 los dos dias completos que fuimos de safari con él y lo consiguió, es un regalo esa experiencia. Desde cualquier punto de vista, os recomendamos Greenwood si queréis estar genial en el Masai Mara.

HUThe Greenwood camp is right next to the entrance of the safari park. Beautiful surrandings, you can watch hippos practicaly from the garden. The host Magdi extremly helpful, you could not ask anything that he would not do for your comfort. The dinner was mady by local masai cook, which was very tasty and big portion. Totally recommend this place if you looking for a peaceful time.
