Ecofinca Salento

The location, it is walkable from the Centro, it is so quiet and tranquil. The wifi worked good and the shower was lukewarm. The breakfast was ok.

We booked the “bungalow” which was listed as a two bed, sitting area and private bathroom. It’s actually a shed with two children sized beds with very thin pads for mattresses. They were the worst beds we’ve ever slept on. They made us pay before we saw the room and now we know why. There is a chair shoved in the corner. The bathroom is outside. The staff was borderline rude and not very attentive. We were the only ones there, and we understand why now.

Info on Booking.com is 1 room 1 bed. On arrival at the finca, it is a tent!!!! In addition, the tent does not close completely and it is on a gallery where there is a leak of rainwater. So the tent takes on water, everything is damp inside, including shoes and sheets!

The property is a bit out of town (15 minutes walking, including some hills) but the property was so tranquil and relaxing. There were cows grazing, chickens, and horses nearby. The breakfast was filling and made from scratch when requested even though we were the only guests.

Property is paid in cash, which is inconvenient if you're staying a few nights. The rooms in the guesthouse were comfy, but we could hear other guests outside in the mornings through the windows.
