"Lovely caravan but the shower didn't work properly."

It is a lovely caravan in a great location The bed were comfy and the TV was great. The kitchen was adequately stocked.

There was a problem with the hot water, it was very low pressure and it was impossible to get a good balance in the shower. It was either freezing cold or boiling hot. I contacted the owner about this and they didn't get back to me. It was ok as we only stayed a couple of days, but it would have been difficult for a longer stay. There is a swimming pool on site but private owners have to pay £50 per person per stay for it. It would have been ok value if we had been staying a while, but not for a couple of days.

Food and drink was well priced and served quickly, all staff were very good and friendly.

The shower was unworkable, the water is heated using gas, it is impossible to balance the hot and cold to allow the shower to operate as it should. E.g. either cold water with shower head operating as it should or hot water dribbling out only.

Would have been a much kinder review if we’d had an apology or compensation for faulty shower that only functioned on cold! Fairly fundamental element in any holiday accommodation ☹️

Location

Needs renovation. Urine smell in the living area. Shower handle broken (not talking about the tap). Very delaied comunication with the owner. Extra charge for towels. Sorry but we will not come back any time soon.
