Pheasant Lodge

Beautiful location, loved watching the ducks wandering around the site. The Lodge had everything we needed and was well laid out. Although the sky tv wasn't working (which the owner informed us about the day before we arrived, so good communication), there was wifi, dvds and lots of child friendly games and books.

We arrived from camping with a trailer and we were quickly made aware no trailers were allowed on site. We contacted the owner and she was really helpful letting us store the trailer on her drive way and apologised for not having the information on the listing. So it was resolved quickly and easily. The bed in the twin room was missing some.slats so wasn't so comfy but we made the owner aware and she was going to arrange for this to be sorted.

The location was absolutely perfect for us, rural and very peaceful. Plenty of space between the lodges. The beds were extremely comfortable.

The only thing I think could make it better would be to have litter and/or dog poo bins. But having said that I realise someone would have to empty them.

Nothing specific only driving at 5mph is bit painful once u enter lodges area.

peaceful setting after very long days at work. Everything to hand that was needed. we did not have time to relax more unfortunately so didn't use the TV just the cooking facilities and beds and bathroom.

seems to be a small issue with the bathroom sink not draining as quickly as it could but not a real issue. may need looking at though. only other thing for us was i wanted a large baking dish to make a pasta for 4 people. couldn't locate one so bought on myself. again not an urgent issue

Situation was perfect for what I needed

It was such a shame that on the opposite side of the river at caer Berris manor ( think that was the name) there was a party of people that made so much noise. It really spoilt the tranquil setting. This went on from Friday evening until quite late Saturday night.
