Nothing other than proximity to my parents.

No hot water, boiler not working and looked like it was in poor condition which meant I was not going to touch it. Mould on the walls and ceiling of main bedroom; light not working in the twin room, one of the beds in the twin room was broken. Very poorly maintained; a real disappointment.

Lovely location overlooking the river, with parking right behind. Shame the weather wasn’t dry enough to use the verandah to sit out.

I wasn’t planning to cook as it was just a short stay but the oven really needs a good clean. The water heater was leaking and a cereal bowl was already there collecting the leak when we arrived. I swept both days but a speed mop would’ve been handy particularly on check-out.

It was in a perfect location for the showground and we thoroughly enjoyed our visit.

Couldn’t see a functioning smoke/carbon monoxide alarm.

Very dirty lodge

WE HAD A NICE STAY AT THE CABIN IT WAS VERY HOMLEY, AND KATHRYN WAS GREAT SHE WAS VERY HELPFUL AND WE WILL BE BACK IT WAS JUST THE WEATHER WASN'T VERY KIND TO US BUT WE ENJOYED OURSELVES,

The area was absolutely fantastic and very relaxing. Neighbours and warden extremely friendly and chatty.

The lodge was really dirty and run down. The plates, mugs and sauce pans were dirty and oily. Fridge dirty. Limited space in the cupboards and drawers as owner kept own stuff in all of them. Spring martress uncomfortable. Flooring rather frail despite me being only 50 kg heavy. Difficulty with hot water as boiler on a blink, kept switching off.

The decking needs attention but overall just a few minor updates needed
