Pheasant Lodge

Very good location in a quiet park, surrounded by trees and fields. This lodge is not overlooked and the view is lovely.

Very little. Maybe the flies, but it's good exercise getting them out at night!

nice location with good walks close by, beds very comfy nice and peaceful site Elan valley is close by within 30 minutes and is ideal for a day out walking

Location. Nice and quiet. Owner was helpful in directing me over the phone to the chalet on arrival.

Quite a bit I'm afraid. Not really up to standard in terms of cleanliness, bathroom mirror and windows dirty, hair clump found on towels left for my use, sheets were very old, slats in single bed collapsed twice on me (I'm not big), very soft and old mattresses (I wouldn't have wanted to see them without the sheets on), towel rail in bathroom not fixed to wall properly, hanging hooks in bedroom broken, blind in bedroom broken so can't be raised. Definitely not worth £100 a night, despite the nice location.

Absolutely beautiful location with beautiful wildlife. Waking up to pheasants, squirrels and rabbits outside the lodge was amazing. So peaceful and quiet! The lodge was lovely too.

Possibly better signage for the lodge on initial arrival - maybe even a map at the entrance. We struggled to find the lodge when we first arrived so this may have helped.

Lovely lodge in a lovely setting, close to river but walking distance to town centre. Property was very clean and check in was easy.

Really enjoyed are stay here.

Lovely place to stay for a few days, pet and family friendly which was just what we needed. Nice walks nearby too.
