Llethrau Forest & Nature Retreats

The location itself is beautiful. There isn't much around so make sure you go prepared. The beds were comfy. The property itself from the outside is lovely and exactly what we expected.

The key safe was left open, so anyone could have been in there or have been in there. As my daughter and I turned up alone first that was a bit daunting walking in. The kitchen was dirty, it honestly did not look as though it had been cleaned and there were cobwebs everywhere. The hob had burnt food still on it. The bathroom in the smaller room above the kitchen had not been cleaned. The toilet was awful, I will not go into detail and the shower had dust and grim around the edge.

The bedding / blankets were smelly previously used and one was very damp. The short would end benches were very uncomfortable with one duvet not suitable for a couple and the wooden cabin was freezing cold. L caught flu whilst in the cabin. The kettle was was heavily scaled so couldn't use it.

Loved the location, remote and perfect for the dogs with the secure garden. Stayed in the converted barn. Well equipped, and warm with the options of radiators or the log fire.

Kitchen utensils could so with an upgrade, sofa beds not comfortable.

This place completely stole our hearts. LLethrau Forest and Nature Retreat felt like pressing pause on the world. Falling asleep to forest sounds, waking up to soft morning light through the trees, and just breathing properly for the first time in ages was incredible. The space was cosy, beautifully done, and spotlessly clean, with everything we needed and nothing we didn’t. You can feel how much love has gone into creating this retreat — it’s calm, thoughtful, and genuinely special. The staff are very helpful and kind.
