It’s a simple yet beautiful and very warm family Homestay.

Nothing really. Everything is good. The access road is a bit narrow but manageable for experienced drivers.

The place was good, we felt secure because the owner was downstairs and very friendly.. the place was very neat and clean..this place will mostly be suitable for friends and family group..

The hospitality of the family was exceptionally warm and welcoming. Special thanks to Len and Jaan for being such wonderful hosts and making our stay so memorable. They even took us around their beautiful fruit and spice garden and a nearby river, which was a unique and refreshing experience. The homestay is surrounded by lush greenery and peaceful nature, making it the perfect place to relax and unwind. Everything about the stay- the atmosphere, the care, and the hospitality was simply amazing. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Munnar and looking for a peaceful and authentic stay experience!

We liked everything especially the foods and the hospitality.

Since we arrived in the middle of the day, it was quite hot. It would have been much better if the fan had been mounted on the ceiling or side wall instead of at the back.

I really liked the family and how welcomed I felt by them and also the delicious food. The upstairs area where the rooms are is cozy and a nice place to interact with other travelers. The homestay is just generally in a nice quiet spot among a lot of nature which gives a good feeling.

C’est la 8e fois que je viens et j’aime toujours autant ce lieu où je me sens comme à la maison. Le calme, la tranquillité, la nature… une parenthèse ressourçante lors de mes voyages en Inde! Et que dire de cette famille qui est devenue peu à peu ma famille indienne. Un accueil impeccable, ils se plient en quatre pour vous satisfaire. Les chambres sont propres et très confortables. Les plats délicieux. Bref, c’est un endroit difficile à quitter et à oublier surtout! Vivement la 9e!!

We had the most amazing stay at Maliyeckal Homestay with Jubia and her gorgeous family. They went out of their way to make our stay perfect, from supporting us with a range of activities in the local area, to cooking incredible meals for breakfast and dinner. Jubia’s paneer butter masala was one of the best meals we’ve had in India!! The room was great and the communal space was really lovely and calm, with a nice seating area to enjoy a coffee with a view of the jungle. Thank you so much to Jubia and her family for their generous hospitality - we hope to get a chance to stay again some day.
