Very friendly host really making me feel welcome and at ease, not just in the appartment but in Madeira as a whole. Great atmosphere

At first I didn’t understand how to get the shower hot. So first one was cold ;-)

Very comfortable and welcoming household. The apartment is well equipped and spotlessly clean. Luis is a very creative person, who has combined natural materials, antique furniture, family heirlooms, vintage photos, greenery and modern art to furnish this beautiful and original space, not forgetting a huge comfy sofa and a friendly cat. No formica in sight 😊 Outside, as the official gardener, he has created a tropical Eden that he shares with other apartments in the block. The best bakeries in the area are also just over the road, so that's a definite perk :-) We didn't mind the steep walk up from town, but if this is an issue for you, don't worry - the bus service is exceptionally good. And the apartment also has parking, if you are hiring a car.

The tropical garden is a delight to walk in, but it would be nice to have some outdoor chairs to sit there too.

Prima kamer op een mooie plek buiten het centrum. Hiervandaan is het centrum goed bereikbaar met bus of taxi. Voor ontbijt kun je dichtbij terecht bij de bakkerij. De ontvangst was zeer vriendelijk.

Proprietario super accogliente e disponibile. Ci ha dato ottimi consigli e ci ha fatto stare al meglio. Mia, la sua gatta, è fantastica.

Very nice place to stay. Had a good time and the people are very nice, except for the beginning, where it was a bit of a rough start.

We waren maar erg kort aanwezig, maar wat opviel waren de vriendelijke en gastvrije bewoners en de schone kamer.

Het was wat gehorig in het gebouw.

Podobało nam się absolutnie wszystko. Apartament jest niewielki, ale urządzony tak gustownie i przyjemnie, że człowiek czuje się w nim jak u siebie w domu. Na każdym kroku widać zamiłowanie do stylowych mebli antycznych, a przede wszystkim do ogrodu. Właściciele włożyli w niego swoje serce, a goście mogą bez problemu korzystać z jego uroku. Do tego gościnność właścicieli, ich otwartość i wiedza na temat wyspy były nieocenione. Z przyjemnością tam wrócimy. Polecamy z całego serca.
