Super nice flat with beautiful balcony and garden

If we were to travel to Madeira again we would 100% rebook here. The room was very neat and the bed was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of wardrobe space for all our things and a fully equipped bathroom. Definitely recommend this property for self-caterers because the kitchen has it all, we very much enjoyed preparing Sunday dinner in it. There is a gorgeous garden outside the flat and on the balcony with amazing ambience, great for sitting down after a hot day for a tea or some finger food. Everything you need you can get across the road: fresh fruit and vegetables, other groceries, fresh local pastries from the bakery. There is also a pharmacy across the road. Last but not least: if it's questions about rental cars, local hikes and trails or just tips on where to find what, our hosts had it all. We are very grateful indeed, would and will recommend this property.

Everything was perfect, the guys was so helpful and nice and also the cat was cute. The house is lovely, decorated with style. The bed was comfortable, everything was so clean. And a big surprise was the "dzsungel garden", it's so amazing. If I came back to the island, I would choose them again.

I really liked the neighbourhood and the accommodation. The location was reachable easily with public transport (5-7 minutes from the city centre). The flat, balcony and the garden was gorgeous. The whole accommodation was spotless and the kitchen was extremely well equipped with kitchen utensils e.g. a fantastic coffee machine. Luis (the host) was very kind and helpful. I spent an unforgettable week in Madeira and I couldn’t wish for a better place to stay than the Rochas Appartment. Thank you Luis.

Amazing place with a superb owner, who gave us plentiful of great recommendations for places to visit and stuff to see, organized a car rental service and was very helpful in general. Lovely cat in the accommodation, nice terrace with a garden view. Overall exceptional.

Not in a comfortably walkable distance (esp. elevation) from Funchal city center, but a bus stop is nearby.
