1) Excellent personal service by Emanuel the home owner and his sons. 2) Views & location were absolutely breathtaking.

1) The slope to the house is a little steep - but it is steep for just a few meters so it can be managed. 2) The toilets require manual flushing. This is not a problem at all if you are a familiar with rural Asia. A friendly suggestion to the homestay to put up instructions in the toilet for those who have not done this before. I had European guests in the next room and they probably did not know how to use that so.... 3) As this fantastic place faces a rice field and is open to greenery, it is advisable to have some mosquito spray in case it is needed.

The owner imanuel and his 2 boys are very nice. Helps to organise things and knows a lot about the history of toraja. Even did a funeral with us. Close to city center

The view from the terrace is absolutely stunning, having breakfast up there ( the coconut pancakes are THE BEST) and looking around lets you take in the beautiful surroundings in Tana Toraja. The room had everything we needed, the bed was comfy and Imanuel and Melvin took wonderful care of us!

Very nice view to return home to after exploring Toraja. Very friendly and accommodating host made tasty pancakes for a price and was able to rent a scooter. Cheap local food options close by and 10min walk to city centre

The view from the accomodation on the rice fields is amazing, especially while eating breakfast on the veranda. Imanuel also offered tea every evening when we arrived back to the accomodation. The fresh juice for the breakfast was delicious! While being in a more quiet area, walking to the city centre took only about 10 to 15 minutes. We also booked a tour with him and he talked his plans through with us beforehand so the tour was tailored to our wishes. During the tour Imanuel provided us with fruits, drinks and coffee, which was really nice.

The bedsheets and blankets could have been cleaner. Breakfast is rather expensive. The pickup and dropoff to the airport (4 million IDR total) and the 2 day tour (3.5 million IDR) with Imanuel was also rather expensive compared to other tours we did in Indonesia and the communication about the price was also inconsistent since the price started at 5.9 million and ended up to be 7.5 million. On the first day of the tour we would have wished a bit more proactiveness regarding interesting information about what we saw (we felt other guides told their customers a bit more), but Imanuel made up for it on the second day which we felt was way better.

Breakfast was very good expecially the coconut pancakes. The house is 10 minutes by walk from the main road, surrounded by a beautiful rice field.

Amazing place! Immanuel is a lovely person, I can strongly recommend him not only as host but as a great local guide. He has deep knowledge about the Toraja region and traditions so it definitely will be the great choice! Thanks again for everything Immanuel ❤️❤️❤️

No hot water

We loved our stay in Sinki home family. Imanuel was so caring and helped us with all our questions - he literally made us feel at home (big thank you!). Also his Mie Goreng is the best I ever had! we can 100% recommend to stay here and we hope to be back some other time.

Imanuel, the owner, was the highlight. He made delicious breakfast in the morning and guided us through funerals, graves and Torajan culture. Had an amazing time here.
