Darjeeling Heights - A Boutique Mountain View Homestay

Great view in more quiet area near the center of darjeeling. Really good breakfast and friendly staff

The room and hotel was quite cold (november) but there was an electric bed warmer. In general cleaning standard in the room could be improved but overall we enjoyed our stay!

The location was amazing. The rooftop is as good a location than any well known sight, to spot Kanchenjunga in all its glory…we found times making the Timelapse of the sunset at the rooftop invaluable moments for us as a family! The homestay is actually like home with homely food, a beautiful location (it’s the highest homestay in Darjeeling -2139m) and people that words cannot describe. Everyone is beyond kind and friendly and being three females travellers, we felt extremely comfortable and safe. The people working at the homestay are just like family and they are always helpful. Our flight from Siliguri was cancelled and a long train ride and cab ride to Darjeeling got us there past midnight, the boys were up and made sure we settled in the room well and fine. I would highly recommend a stay here when travelling to Darjeeling, it could turn out to be the best part of your trip.
