If you seek peace and comfort amidst the grand Himalayas…look no further. While the place operates a bit more like a quaint quiet hotel, Sudershan and his staff make you feel like part of their family and in this way I would regard it as possibly the best accommodation option in the north of India. One staff member in particular, Ashal goes above and beyond the average host, and from the moment you walk in greets you with a kind and welcoming spirit as you enter their abode. Not only does he ensure that your every need is meet with utmost professionalism but his friendliness and hospitality makes you feel that you might never want to leave. I have no reservations in recommending this establishment as of the highest quality! As a side note; if this is a for a trip in which you wish to party hard and spend the early hours of the morning talking I would recommend a different establishment in Darjeeling with more leniency. They will not tolerate disrespect and disruption for the guest who want to have a peaceful time. If what you seek is a quiet breakfast among the misty mountains…this is the place for you
