Keralan Homestay

The location is outstanding, right next to the main backwater jetties. Our host was exceptionally helpful with making all necessary arrangements for backwater cruises and other local transportation and very reasonable costs. She is extremely well connected locally and always willing to use her network to make our holiday enjoyable.

The Homestay is good for a backpackers holiday, but lacking in some of the facilities needed to make the stay comfortable for those days and times when you just want to relax at home. Bathrooms and bedrooms are well-furnished and comfortable but basic in features like wardrobes and bathroom shelving hooks etc. So it’s good for a couple of days stay on the run but not great for a longer more relaxed holiday.
