Pala House

Location was ideal! Quiet and friendly family. Wifi worked well. Hot water flask outside my room every morning. The room looked exactly like it did in the pics, super clean and big enough for two people with big bags. Loads of nearby cafes and places to go, close enough to the main road. You can make use of the kitchen.

The room had no net infront of the curtains, so if you want privacy, you have to keep the curtains closed throughout the day making it a bit dark and dull. Other than this, no complaints about the place. It is very well maintained.

Clean, plenty of space, good high ceilings and big bed. Lovely staff, felt safe and comfortable and it was in a great location, close to centre but tucked away so it was quiet and peaceful

Kitchen wasn’t very well stocked, had basic frypans and cups and plates but not much else :)

Staff was nice, You can use the kitchen. Family environment- Easy to walk to the all the shopping and food. Coffee sugar provided. Good price. Ducked off and low-key

Hard to find the first time although the sign is there.I still missed it.

I lived here for 3 weeks. 1) Super nice staff! They prepared hot water for us and provided tea every morning. You can also ask them about cleaning the room 2) Good price 3) Greate location

1) There were a lot of insects (especially ants) in my room and I was stressed out because of this. My friends in other rooms had no problems with ants, so if you can choose, don't stay in room #1. 2) The fan didn't work well and it was stuffy. And again it was only in room #1. 3) Sometimes the internet connection was not good (but still it was enough for video calls).

The room was very clean and so comfortable. Although the rooms are located in the family compound, it was so quiet and calm.

The parking space was quite small and difficult to go in and out of.

Nura is the best host, very kind and care truly for the people staying at Pala House. everything is clean so well. he present the room truly like the best hotel in Paris. everything is so easy with Nora. the whole family are here for you if you need anything. I am always going to Pala house as soon as I need to stay in Ubud. I am going to Bali every month for the last 2 years.
