Pala House

It is in a side road and therefor quiet. Yet a short walk to the center.

The sink was broken. Water stood stuck. I could not use it. Water was also leaking out onto floor. The whole compound looks like a construction area. Not at all Cozy or homey, more shabby and neglected.

Very good room, spacious, good furniture and comfortable bed Very clean Close to the main road but very quiet The kitchen misses some cooking essentials (salt, pepper, spices), but overall is pretty good The host is kind and easy to reach over WhatsApp

Unfortunately there was a very strong humidity/mouldy smell coming from the bathroom, and it completely ruined my stay When you shower, puddles form on the floor and won't drain There's a tiny window, so ventilation is almost zero I had booked four days, and after two days I asked for a refund, because I couldn't deal with the smell anymore, but I was told a refund isn't possible. Ended up staying all four days, because I didn't want to pay double, but the mouldy smell feels unhealthy.

No sense of cleanliness or hygiene. Dirty bedding, stale smelling bedding and towels. Stained bedding.

Everything. The family living there are the best. Very kind and always ready to help. Nura is the man ask him anything, and Ayu lovely sister also. They are great people you can meet in Ubud.

I spent here one week and really enjoyed it. I had a nice, spacious room. The room was clean, the location is convenient too, the owner is nice.

The host will serve you hot water in the morning where you can make your own cup of tea of coffee, there are tea, coffee and sugar provided in your room, there is also pantry where you can cook instant noodle for example.

The location is a bit far from the main road, the lighting in the room is a bit dark, should replace with better lamp, and the fan also need to be replaced with a new ones.

Affordable. friendly owner. Clean and tidy. Excellent kitchen.
