BANANA FARM HOUSE

Sharada was very welcoming and provided great dinner and breakfast. We were allowed to check in early after a long overnight bus journey, which was much appreciated!

Banana Farm House is a lovely homestay. The host (Pompy) and his wife (Sharada) are extremely gracious, and cannot do enough for their guests. We ate dinner here, and breakfast - Sharada is an amazing cook. Local, delicious vegetarian food! With wonderful tea and coffee. The hosts make an extra bathroom available to guests who might need it when arriving earlier than check in or leaving later than checkout. The rooms are large, clean and very comfortable. The AC is new and relatively quiet, which I do not take for granted. The bathroom was clean with plentiful hot water - if you have an issue with hot water just ask the hosts. They will help you out. There is also a common area to sit in. The property is located quite close to New Hampi so very convenient! And they store your luggage.

Nothing to dislike.

The food was lovely. The owner and his wife were really helpful and sorted out the rickshaw guide, which was great. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The place is a short Rickshaw ride from Hampi. As there are so many cheap rickshaws this doesn’t matter at all

The pictures of the terrace were not accurate. There is no terrace or specific sitting area, but it didn’t matter to us. The bedrooms, though spacious do not open out onto anything which I think the pics suggest. I think they need to update the advertised pics

After staying in a series of hostels all around india me and my friend were stuck for choice when coming to hampi and having to choose a homestay. Lucky for us we picked this place! Banana farm were amazing, the room was so very clean, the area it was in was close to food establishment, snacks etc. And the host were always available to answer questions. Sharada often was on hand to check if we were ok or needed any services, making us delicious lunches and banana themed snacks. It was a really refreshing stay here and would return.

The accommodation is absolutely perfect, nothing to complain about. The owner Sharada cooks very well and is very pleasant, I recommend breakfast and dinner at the accommodation. The location is perfect for visiting the temple complex in Hampi.
