Sithara Homestay Fort Cochin

Everything was amazing, and the homestay was honestly the best part of our stay in Kochi. HarryJohn and Mercy are incredible hosts and we loved talking to them. They have a beautiful house with chickens and a garden, which is serene to have breakfast next to in the morning. Overall, would highly recommend.

Harry and Mercy were excellent hosts and really made us feel welcome. They recommended places to visit and organised a tour of the backwaters for us and a visit to the hilltop palace and folklore museum, as well as getting us tickets for a Kathakali performance. ,Our room was clean, large and comfortable, with not only its own bathroom, but also a dressing room. There was plenty of storage space and Mercy provided us with an extra blanket and towels when we asked for them. Breakfast was good and taken in the pleasant surroundings of the patio, looking out at the garden with Mercy’s chickens in the background. The location was very good, within walking distance of the sea and the main sights in Fort Cochin.

Everything was good, but it would have been nice to have a kettle in our room.

Great location close to lots of major sights. Very friendly helpful owners, Harry & Mercy. Good breakfast with fresh fruit juice and delicious homemade food.

Little bit tired. So many light switches to choose from and not where expected. Room smelt of stale cigarettes
