Sri Bhavan Ella

We enjoyed our stay very much. You can reach the city centre in 5 minutes on foot. However, you have to walk along the railway tracks. But that's not a big deal. And the trains pass right in front of the accommodation. But even that was not that bad than we had imagined. The owner was very nice and helpful. She made us tea and coffee and did our laundry. She always baked something different for breakfast.

The accommodation is very simply furnished and a little old-fashioned. It smells a bit strange in the area, as there is a rubbish dump nearby.

Very nice family runs hostel. Nice breakfast, big and clean room. Beautifull view from room. At night very quiet.

In shower there was no hot water and there was ants. Railway is going just in front of hostel, so train wake you up early every morning. You need 10min up and down walk to town centre.

The most caring host I have come across on my trip to Sri Lanka. She packed morning breakfast for my early morning train to Kandy. I felt very touched by her warmness and hospitality.

Such a lovely host. Made us dinner one evening which was very tasty! Perfect location. Only 5 minute walk into Ella over the train tracks. Clean and very comfortable.

Such a cozy and welcoming place! We spend so much time on the terrace and enjoyed the calmness surrounding us. At the same time, it is only a 5 minute walk to the main road. Authentic and delicious breakfast!! And such a caring host…

Very friendly owner, good lokation, tea and Snack at arrival, very quiet

We were very warmly welcomed. Great location for starting hiking to Ella Rock. Very close to train station and city centre. Our host, Ameli, arranged transportation for us to Diyaluma waterfalls. Breakfast was delicios and plenty.

Nothing identified as wrong for us.
