New Farmers Paradise

We had an incredible stay at Farmers Paradise. The hosts are so warm and welcoming and really go the extra mile. The food is delicious and the best we’ve had so far in Sri Lanka. An amazing feast was cooked for us both nights using variety of vegetables from the farm and not one dish tasted the same - sublime! We also did a cookery lesson on our second night and I would highly recommend doing this, along with a guided walk with Ari to the waterfall. Honestly can’t express how fabulous this place is! Thank you so much.

Harry was lovely and friendly, room had a great view. Was an excellent homestay while still having plenty of privacy. 10/10 would stay again.

Damp in the rooms. So very basic

Ari and family were lovely, very hospitable and friendly, couldn't do enough. Loved the traditional breakfast, enjoyed one home cooked dinner, an array of vegetarian curry and roti, delicious. Views were stunning, 20 min walk into town along railway tracks, just beautiful. Accomdation, room a good size, bed comfortable. Bathroom a good size. Terrace outside beautiful to sit and enjoy view.

Could have been more hot water, it was tepid as best. It was rainy when we visited, and access to the property from town particularly at night was difficult as the road was rough and muddy. Tuk tuks were Rps 700-800. We wouldn't consider walking back at night in these conditions...and a torch is needed as no street lighting.

New Farmers Paradise is exactly that…paradise. Located a 20min walk from town or a 5min tuk tuk, it’s the most magical spot that looks out over rolling hills and farm land. But what really made the stay so magical was the sweet sweet caring family that took us in and looked after us so lovingly and attentively. We really felt so comfortable and taken care of not to mention the food they prepared for us was insanely delicious, with most of the produce being grown right there on their farm 😍 definitely the best coconut sambal we had during our entire 2 weeks in Sri Lanka. Would highly highly recommend this accommodation for your trip to Ella!

An amazing nature location and a very uniquely constructed housing complex by the owner himself . I received a warm welcome by the family and enjoyed the beautiful surroundings.

New Farmers Paradies is a great place to stay at in Ella. Its about 3 or 4 minutes away from the City with Tuk Tuk but the view is absolutely worth it. The hosts were extremly kind to us. If you want they even cook for you. Since they are farmers its always fresh, good and a lot :)

THE FOOD AND THE PLACE IS WONDERFUL.FRIENDLY STAFFS FOR SURE AMAZING VIEW FROM THE BALCONY.SUCH AN AMAZING PLACE

It's 2 km from Ella town and those who could walk or has a vehicle it would be much easier.or else it would turn to a nightmare.we faced some many problems while traveling to the room was ,it was hard to carry our back packs.And for travelling to the room is a very difficult path.For taxi's it cost 4 times the normal price So better check everything and go . Still I would recommend this place a 10 👌🏻

Really fantastic homestay with a very helpful family. They maintained a clean property and had lots of contacts and advice about our trip. Highly recommend!

The owner and his wife were extremly welcoming and generous & took care of all aour wishes. We were served delicious Sri lankan breakfast and dinner and they organized scooters to rent for us, which were brought directly to the guesthouse. The view from our room's terrace was magnificent and the place is very silent and peacful. To reach the main road of Ella, you have to walk app. 20-25min. We will definitely be back If we come Back to Ella!!
