Miracle Home Stay

Roy was friendly and helpful with directions. His wife cooked us the best food in the entire universe for dinner - rice and six curries. These were so good that every meal I have eaten since then has made me cry because I know my culinary experience in life has already peaked. The homestay is right next to a giant rock that gives spectacular views all around, including Sigiriya / Lion Rock on the horizon. We walked up it for sunset and sunrise. There were some cool geckos hanging around outside our room.

Each morning, we were treated to a delightful breakfast featuring an array of fresh, local ingredients. The generous portions provided the perfect start to our day, fueling us for our adventures. The property's location was also a major highlight of our stay. It was ideally situated, offering easy access to the city's main attractions, Overall, our experience was nothing short of fantastic. The combination of the owner's exceptional hospitality, the delicious local breakfast, and the property's prime location made for an unforgettable stay. We highly recommend this property to anyone seeking a memorable and enjoyable experience.

The room was a great size, spotlessly clean. We booked on the afternoon we intended to check in, Roy was very accommodating and a fabulous host. The breakfast was so delicious with so much variety too. Roy also helped us book a last minute elephant safari, cooked us a sumptuous traditional Sri Lankan dinner, and dropped us off at the bus station for our onward journey. He even went back to the property when we realised we had forgotten one of our bags. A wonderful man! Thanks for a great stay!

Very pleasant and spacious accommodation away from the city noise, helpful and friendly host who arranged everything we needed, close to the cave temple and the golden Buddha, highly recommended.

Roe was really welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. He gave a lift to the centre when it was dark outside and also a lift to the bus stand. He also offered reasonable price for a drive to Sigiriya. The room seemed newly furbished so it was pretty clean and spacious. It was also lovely to meet his adorable family during our stay.

We had a beautiful stay here. The breakfasts were the best during our whole Sri Lanka trip. The owner was helpful and always here for us. Picked us up at the bus station when it was heavily raining. Arranged for us also safari tour for reasonable price. He did his best, although it was raining all the time, we enjoyed the stay here. For the money you pay you get excellent accommodation.
