Ha Giang Faithien Homestay

Very peaceful location right by a river you can swim in. The room was clean and had everything you needed, and the staff were very friendly.

It’s a bit out of the city but they provide free bikes for you to use and also can arrange a motorbike hire

Lovely food and great rural location

It gets incredibly hot in Ha giang (44°) and the room didn’t have air con and only a small weak fan so had the worst nights sleep since 4 months of travel l, this was made worse by the drunk guests who would not be quiet

Wow where to start!!! The hosts are beyond helpful and so fun. The dinner each night was amazing and cooked with love. The bungalow is so beautiful and there is a river on the property. You can swim in it during the day and you can hear it at night from the room. I want to write a book about how much I love this place. They helped us with the motor bikes for the ha giang loop and helped us figure out the route. I love them. I love this place.

I wish I could’ve stayed more time!!!

We like the location, it is out of town a few km so is quiet and right along the river. Nice balcony with comfortable hammock. We ate breakfast and dinner there, enjoyed both. The staff was very good. Ang (spelling may be wrong), the owner, was wonderful, friendly and helpful, he found us a car and driver to do the Ha Giang Loop over 3 days 2 nights, price was excellent value, driver was great (we used Google Translate to communicate), vehicle was large and comfortable. The bed at Fathien was comfortable, room was good size. I would highly recommend and would stay there again.

We had a wonderful stay here after our night bus to Ha Giang. The house is in a lovely countryside setting, very clean and comfortable. The host was very kind and helpful and very flexible with our check in time. Thank you for this stay!

Beautiful location, right next to the peaceful river. Incredible home cooking, all food sourced from local area. They also keep bees and so the honey tastes amazing. Wonderful hosts that were very kind, interesting and always happy to help. I would highly recommend this homestay to anybody.

Just out of the village with the stream running behind the property Our bungalow was comfortable and clean. Our hosts made this a truely memorable experience, the food was fresh and delicious and the evening meal was a lovely occasion with Mr Ahn and mr Lihn They helped us out with any thing we needed and Mr Linh guided us on a walk in the mountains where we had lunch with some villagers It was an amazing experience that I will always remember

The food was great and the people were very friendly. It was a good spot to start on some hikes. The house was nice and pretty and clean.

My best homestay experience ever. Anh and his nephew Linh are so friendly, and in a very genuine way. They don't try to sell you anything unless you ask - but anything you ask for, they will make sure you get it. The most enjoyable part of the stay is dinner-time - all of the food is organic and comes straight from their family's farm. And even better, you get to enjoy the dinner with Anh and Linh, along with the other guests, sharing stories and rice wine, and learning about Vietnamese and Tày culture. 10/10 rating without a doubt. It is exceptional how much this family is willing to give to their guests.
