Ha Giang Faithien Homestay

We’ve stayed in a lot of homestays in Vietnam but he is for sure the sweetest host we’ve had. He helped us plan our ha giang loop, cleaned our motorbike and checked if everything was safe. They made us delicious dinner and the house was super clean. Highly recommend!!

Loved this place. The owner is super nice & smiling. Eats with you at meals. The food was good. The location was perfect. Outside the city so very quiet. He upgraded my room to a bungalow and the bathroom is nice :) Hot water, pressure with the shower. The room was confortable. The view from the bedroom is incredible. You see the river and hear it non stop. I loved that. I stayed an extra day and night so that I could walk through the river to go to the waterfalls and what an incredible day. The dogs followed us and showed us the way. Put shoes on to walk on slippery rocks under the water.

You hear EVERYTHING if you have a neighbour.

The food was amazing and the host is a very kind and beautiful person. We felt at home!

Anh and his family is so friendly. He upgraded us cos it was empty. We had a balcony overlooking a river with a hammock. He built the whole thing himself and they cook amazing meals there.

Tuan who runs the place is a gorgeous man, the lovely sounds of the river result in a deep sleep. It is beautiful surroundings and not so far from town, but fully quiet: no traffic sounds. Tuan and his family cook delicious food every night and take good care of you. Also my friend Maggie lost her wallet in a taxi and Tuan stayed up all night and the next day tracking it down and returning it to us. So so caring, it is a place of love and care here :) Also they can rent you motorbikes and bicycles here, but there are walks up the river or up the mountain which are easy to do

No complaints really, because the staff here have said that they are happy to receive any criticism so they may improve. There is nothing i can think of, it's genuinely the best accomodation I've had when travelling :)

Staying here was heaven. It's a serene alternative to staying in the town of Hà Giang (short walk or only 10 mins in taxi). We had a balcony with a hammock overlooking the river and forest. I had the best hot shower in all of Vietnam !! (The hot water never ran out). The food every night was sooo delicious and the hosts were attentive and kind. We extended our stay and stayed again after completing the Hà Giang loop.

Location was super beautiful! The owner was super helpful and was able to book us easy riders for the same day and also allowed us to store extra luggage in place! Super nice

We loved the peaceful, tranquil and cozy cabin. Sleeping with the sound of the river was incredible. Ling's cooking was out of this world! Hosts were very helpful with booking motorbike rentals and a local guide for taking us around the loop. Thank you Fathien!
