Great homestay, right on the beach. Lovely hosts and great food (we really loved the noodle soup).

The location is great. Very quiet. Spacious room. We had a small terras with garden in front of our room. Breakfast is very delicious. You can order Indonesian food for lunch and dinner and this was the best food we had during our journey! Gado gado was marvellous! We went on a snorkeling trip with the owner and some other guests to several other small islands in the area and we saw blue coral! Very beautiful! Perfect location for the really Indonesian experience, very good value for money. A short walk away ( 1 km) you will find Lombok Marina (small Harbour with 30 berths with private pool) with a yacht club where you can drink and eat in a fancy atmosphere.

No airconditioning, but a fan in the room. This worked well for us, not a problem at all..we knew this when we booked the room.

Staying at Pelangi Homestay was just an OK experience. The room was quite spacious with a good-sized comfy bed, fan, and private porch to relax. The food prepared by the host's wife is good and delicious at a decent price.

The host was not helpful to us after knowing that we didn't know how to swim to enjoy snorkelling. Luckily we found a tour operator at town who took us for a good snorkelling experience and visiting other islands by arranging a guide. Moreover, we found the price charged by the host for the same tour is much higher compared to the nearby local tour operators from the town. So we recommend searching for local fisherman tour operators so others get a fair share who don't own accommodation businesses.

The restaurant right by the shore was immediately inviting. The huts were cute and well appointed. The shower did not have hot water, but the luke warm water was just right at the end of a hot day. The host were very nice and accommodating.

Lots of things which the hosts had ticked as available were not actually. I didn't mind that there was no desk, no closet, no sofa bed, but I was disappointed that there was no kettle for me to make myself a cup of coffee when I got up at 5am, even though that was ticked as well. Obviously, everything was just ticked indiscriminately. Sadly, they did not try to accommodate me with a thermos either. There was not much airflow around our porch, and the fan was uncomfortable at night.

Lovely hosts and the best snorkelling trip I’ve been on since I’ve been in Indonesia! You don’t have thousands of boats, just you a few other guests and the sea. The food they serve is also delicious and very reasonably priced. A hidden gem (:

The place it was how we expected from the price. There is a lot of place to chill and hammocks outside. Delicious breakfast and very friendly and helpful owners. We made a Snorkling tour with them and also he arranged the transport from Lombok harbor directly (aprox 10 min) to them and where to leave our motorcycle also, near to the harbor.

The toilet could be a little cleaner.
