Pelangi Homestay Bungalow Gili gede

Zeida is an excellent cook, everything was very tasty. The homestay is right by the water, everywhere in the garden is clean. There are wonderful locations for snorkeling and diving in the area.

The price list of trips is posted in the garden. But if you are alone, surprisingly you have to pay more - so I used someone else's services. In the rainy season there is a lot of plastic and dirt everywhere - there are no beautiful beaches for swimming. I wanted a sunbed by the water - unfortunately they are all broken. Those who sleep badly - take earplugs, like me.

Calm beachhuts to chill for a few days. The bungalows are basic but have everything you need. The owner cooks delicious food, so you don't even have to leave the hotel. There is many little chillout places and hammocks on site, where you can easily spend the whole day reading. We also booked a snorkeling trip with them, which was very cool. The coral is beautiful and very healthy in the area.

The mosquito-nets are unfortunately a bit small for two persons to fit comfortably. It was quite warm at night since there is no air-conditioning, fan only.

Fantastic location, magic scenery, restaurant right on the beach, local style rooms set back a little. Really good for the price. Very friendly owners and family.

The owners are very friendly and helpful and will help you also the get on and off the Island 25kpp eachway. Food is delicious.

Lovely owners, nice location, convenient restaurant with good food! Mosquito net and fan in the bedroom. The owner took me out for a lovely day trip snorkelling.

This is a lovely place to stay. Zuriah and her husband are charming and excellent hosts. One looks out over the water and It's a short walk up the hill to the Marina if you want the luxury of a beer etc. I walked around the island from here and it was delightful. Food was good, particularly the Gado Gado Zuriah prepared for me. Comfortable and safe. You can organise a boat to other nearby islands for snorkeling easily.

Basic but excellent family-run homestay, which has a beautiful view of the sea towards Mount Rinjani. The family took us on a great boat trip, right from the home stay with their own boat. Nice breakfast!

The people are Very helpful and friendly Great food and very relaxed atmosphere Recommend doing the snorkling trip seen Beautiful Coral. Fish and 2 large Turtles There are some great walking tracks on the island too you can follow the coast and walk thru the villages and see day to day life
