Kavidi Villa Home Stay

We had a great stay here. The rooms are nice and very clean and there is a big bathroom with hot water. The location is great, only a few minutes walk to silent beach and there are plenty of restaurants nearby. Kavidi is a great host, she gave us great recommendations for things to do in the area and was always available to help with any request. We had breakfast included which was really good and huge portions. Would recommend to stay here.

This is a great homestay, with a loving couple and their adorable daughter. The bed is comfortable, breakfast is great and AC works perfectly. The owners will really go the extra mile to make you comfortable. Highly recommended!

It's a homestay, so not a five star resort with all luxuries or anything. Not a negative thing for me personally, but just something to know.

Kavidi is a fantastic host who was extremely caring and super nice and supportive. She organized a safari trip for us and helped us with other questions as well. The accommodation itself is very clean and organized and you have everything you need. It’s a 5 minute walk to silent beach which was great as well. Not that many (good) restaurants around however.

We had two dinners at Kavidi’s place. The first one was great and very tasty. However, the second one felt like it was just the rests from the day before as it was largely the same curries as on the day before and served cold as well. Maybe it was just a “mistake” once but if you are thinking of eating there, maybe double check before if there is fresh food made that day. They also offer a TukTuk service, however, quite at a premium compared to other drivers in the area. We asked for a trip to Hiriketiya and were offered 2500 rupees. We found someone that brought us there for below 1500.

Fantastic location near beautiful Silent beach, small homestay run by lovely family. The room was clean and breakfast was delicious. Great value for money.

I don’t know where to start about Kavindi’s place. First of all I think it was the cleanest room I had in my stay in Sri Lanka, super quiet and the bad extremely comfortable. Kavindi and her husband are very friendly and super helpful, trying to make you feel as comfortable as possible. Breakfast and dinner were huge and super tasty. I will definitely come back in the future! Thank you Kavindi ❤️

I had an awesome stay at Kavidi Villa. The room was very clean and modern with air-conditioning, great bathroom, comfortable bed, etc. The owners are very nice and helpful and make you feel like family. They also go on trips with you. They have a restaurant where you get rice and curry and where they serve you a delicious breakfast. The fantastic Silent Beach is just a 5 minute walk away. Everything was perfect and I hope to be back soon. Thank you so much Kavidi and family.

We loved our stay at Kavidi villa. The room had everything we needed, even a kettle and green tea provided.Breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It was nice and quiet, right next to several restaurants and close to a beautiful beach. And our hosts were so friendly and helpful, we highly recommend a stay!

I think Kavidi Villa Home Stay is the best place to stay, so clean, peaceful, next to the ocean. Hope to come back on our next visit to Sri Lanka. Kavidi and her family are very friendly and they made our stay very enjoyable.

Comfy bed, good breakfast, very kind staff. Very good location. Very few people on the beach, nice bars and restaurants nearby.
