free upgrade for our room, close to all important locations, big terrace, very clean and lots of cute decoration, food vouchers for the 7/11 below

difficult to communicate with the 7/11 staff who need to show you the way.

Shower was directly in the bathroom. The nozzle direction was unable to be adjusted so water went everywhere. There was no bathmat or anything to dry it down. There was a kettle which was important to me but only tiny paper cups unsuitable for hot liquid. Drinking water provided on day1 but not day 2

Other than the great location. The owner is very cute, the service was impressive, help me and my family to lift all the bags on the 3rd floor. Impressed us very much. The owner also gave me a breakfast coupon to use in the 7-11 below, which gave me lots to eat.

It's just that there are no elevators, but it's not a big problem because the owners are trying to be very easy for us.

The hostess Mrs Wang (or Wong ) was very hospitable , cordial, kind, and efficient. She gave me vouchers (each worth 100 TWD to buy breakfast at her 7/11 store. The room is next door to her 7/11 store so you will never go hungry all hours of the day. The shower was hot and strong. It is a 2 in 1 room , meaning the toilet is the same room as the shower so the floor is always clean and wet after taking a shower. The WiFi was very strong. I like the lighting because they were bright. There is a long sofa that seats at least 4 persons to relax. The view from the room is unobstructed. The location is only 7 to 10 minutes from the ferry terminal. Nearby there is a hiking trail to the top of a nearby mountain. Also there is board walk trail a few minutes away that you can enjoy the lake view while walking. I think the trail is 2 to 3 km long ? Nearby there are a number of dining options. I actually bought a package meal ( chicken curry ) at her 7/11 . Her staff warmed it up for me. It was delicious. I forgot how much it costed , probably less than 100 TWD. The bus terminal/stop is only a few minutes away . Overall I really like the room. Many thanks to the owners.

Hostel signboards/direction. The name in booking.com is different from the signboard at place.

We have been upgraded to a different room. It was located just above a 7/11 store. Been given breakfast voucher. Owner was super nice and helpful. We loved the terrace.
