Xingyue 2 Guesthouse

Very convenient as it is very close to the bus station and the jetty. Location above a 7-11 so you can buy food easily. The host is very helpful, she helped us to carry our luggage from the bus station to the guesthouse. The host also sold us the ferry tickets at a discounted price and provided us with vouchers that can be redeemed at the 7-11 below the guesthouse. Very nice balcony area where the guests can sit and chill at night, enjoying the view and cooling weather.

Need better instruction for direction. The place is located above a 7-11, it took a while to figure out where it is. You have to go inside the 7-11 store and use the staircase inside the 7-11 to get to the guesthouse. I wanted the Unlimited pass for the ferry, which I confirmed with the host before I bought it (at a discounted price) from her, but turns out it is a Single-journey ticket. I believe this is an honest mistake from the host or maybe a miscommunication, do confirm on the ticket type before purchasing. The water cooler needs some cleaning, it looks a bit dirty and I also saw a lizard on the tap. There is no window in the room, was a bit disappointed because from the picture the view of the room was really nice.

No proper direction on how to check in before we ask landlord. No lift to carry luggage.

The owner was very friendly and nice. She helped us with our luggage to get to her property, simple check in. The home hotel is in a very nice location, convenient to the Sun moon lake, the bus station, and places to eat. The breakfast was a 100 NTD for self picking up food in a 7-11 store.

The bathroom is small.

Lovely host who helped with all questions even though we speak not the same language very spacious room, hot water shower and comfortable beds Voucher for 7 11 store was perfect for breakfast (or diner as I used it) and the lady downstairs with bike rental is also a big plus (and a good starting point for the around the lake tour by bike; and it is also very close to the bus station you arrive with the Tourist shuttle)

Location is great, only a few minutes walk to Shuishe pier. landlord is very nice and friendly, we got discounted bike rental and boat ride tickets from her. Loved the 7-11 store right next door where you can use the breakfast vouchers.
