Xingyue 2 Guesthouse

Located very close to bus stops & close enough to everything really because it is a small town. Mercifully it was quiet at night but lots of street noise all day & into the evening. Main room was big & comfortable with a good couch to relax on. Shower was hot & strong. Everything was very clean

Bathroom was tiny & if the toilet was to be used anytime after the shower, the water on the floor had to be waded thru to get to the toilet. Thankfully plastic slippers were provided. No screening at all around the shower. Super noisy during the day. As mentioned by others, breakfast is a $100 7-11 voucher. I’m not sure about this but it did buy me beer.

Location is near the shuishe bus station, and sun moon lake port. Room is clean.

No instruction about the exact location of this hotel, and how to check in. Without reading comments in booking before going there, I could not know how to find the hotel. No plate in english in front of hotel indicating where the hotel is. About communication via message, they barely answered me. So I could not get any information that I am concerned.

The room is big with a huge window with a mountain view. It is located on top of a 7-11 store, which opens for 24 hours. And there are many bicycles rentals and restaurants nearby. The host is very friendly and helpful. She even offered to help with my big luggage up the stairs even though I am a man.

The ensuite is very small but I am ok with it since I am not planning to spend a lot of time there.

Location is very near Shui She pier and bus station. Its just above a 7-11, so any amenities are easy to get. The breakfast is NT$100 7-11 vouchers, choose any of the food, have it heated and the 2nd floor balcony can be used to dine. There is a bicycle shop just below and the auntie is friendly and helpful. She offers bicycle rental and day boat tickets for NT$400. Totoro decorations around the interior are cute too!

Check in instructions weren't so clear. You have to go to the 7-11 and tell the staff, and they took some time to find the booking. Our rooms were on the 3rd floor and steps were steep, so carrying our luggage up was inconvenient. However, the staff were helpful in offering their help during check in and check out.

Host is very friendly and helpful, convenient store 7-11 is just at the downstairs and you get $100 vouchers for your breakfast, 2 minute walk to the bus station and 5 minutes to Shueishe pier.

Its a guest house accomodation above and next to a 7-11. You check in at the 7-11. The staff was very helpful, but with limited English. The room and location were excellent for my needs. Great value and includes breakfast vouchers at 7-11, so easy to get some morning coffee and foods. Also, near a parking lot or bus location depending on your needs. I recommend this listing for Sun Moon Lake.

We got a free upgrade to a bigger room. The location was also very good. Close to the Nantou bus station and the shuise pier.

The hotel had very good location. Minutes from the bus station, ferry port and restaurants. The room was cosy and the bed comfy. For breakfast I received 200 NWD voucher per day that I could use at 7eleven that was right next to the hotel. The TV was good at the end of the day for background noise to wind down.

I had to ask help to find the entrance. Turned out I had to notify 7eleven staff of my arrival and then they called someone to collect me. This person then tried to upgrade (?!) my room to a windowless one that lacked storage facility. I had to ask for a window to be led to the room I booked. This window did overlook the car park but sitting on the bed all I could see was the hills. :) The bathroom was a bit small and the shower made everything wet. Still, it was fine for two nights.
