when we got there, there wasn’t anyone to tell us our room; the house doors were both open ; It was 46° outside & only 66°in the house. We found a business card on a desk for the owner ( who lives in Lafayette, IN) She was helpful in telling us places to visit , but the code she gave us for our room was the wrong one & her voice mailbox is full so I text her & got no response! The house is very drafty, you can see around some of the outside doors. There isn’t a house manager, but the woman who cleans & lives there helped us get into our room, learn how to work the TV & get us in our room when we accidentally turned the wrong button. She found a key that got us back in. The septic backing up in a main floor room was the last straw. we left on Friday night because it stunk

One of a kind place.

No one there to greet us. Our booking had not come through for hours so the housekeeper/office person was going to bed early. Fortunately someone roused her & she came to check us in.

There were coffee and rolls for breakfast and the location in town is perfect.
