Clean and convenient. Near a coffee plantation. Jose is a nice host.

Bed mattress is weak?

Family was so kind and accommodating. Atmosphere was nice with several common areas and amenities for guest use (i.e. communal kitchen, games, books, etc.) Close walk to restaurants and supermarket. Secure parking. Great stay for early morning flights. Very close to Adobe Car Rental.

Close to airport.

The price was different that what was reserved and the host was not on site so we did not feel welcoming. The girl on site was not speaking a word of English so impossible to communicate.

The room was small but clean and comfy. The bed was super comfy and sheets were soft and cosy. The only negative is no a/c and as it is a shipping container, it holds the heat into the night. It was great overall, had 2 fans to help with that heat and was quiet and accessible in a true Costa Rican community.

Jose is a wonderful host and made us feel at home. However I missed the small print and didn't realize it was a shared bathroom. Plus the dog next door barked a lot during the night and the security light outside our bedroom window came on a lot, which wouldn't have been a problem except that the curtains were very sheer (which also doesn't feel very safe). The bed was comfortable but we didn't sleep very well.

We're pretty sure a mouse came and look my husband's pills that he had wrapped up in plastic on his suitcase for the morning. And I don't like sheer curtains in bedrooms. And perhaps the door hinges could be oiled so they don't squeak.

Jose the host was super nice and made us feel at home. Location is perfect if you need a place to stay close to the airport.

Jose was a great host! Very friendly and gave us an impromptu Spanish lesson in the morning before we left. Perfect spot to sleep after the airport.

Maria is a wonderful host! She showed us around and offered us coffee and smoothies after we checked in. Everything was very clean and it was nice to have the outdoor kitchen and place to lounge. Although it didn't have AC, a fan was provided and the room had a big window for air flow

I couldn’t recommend the host highly enough. For a fee they picked me up from the airport and were so helpful showing me where the bus stop was the next day. They made me coffee in the morning and were very friendly. The accommodation was basic but had everything you need and it’s handy they also have basic kitchen you can use. A great place to stay after a long flight.
