Guesthouse Congo Tempisque

Jose is an incredible host, very warm and accommodating. The facilities were above what we expected.

Clean quaint room which was all we were looking for

The noisy gecko squaking in our room all night waking us up. The shower did not have warm water.

Jose was an amazing host, very friendly, check in was easy. He handed us bottles of cold water as we arrived, and brought us fruit and coffee in the morning. Common areas to relax in, and parking on the property. Very close to airport, car rentals, gas stations and grocery stores.

Room was a bit small, but fine for our purposes.

Wonderful stay at Congo Tempisque. I was able to arrange for an airport pickup and the owner even made me some food after my long flight. The room and bathroom were very clean and the bed was really comfortable, It is conveniently located near the airport and for onward transportation around Costa Rica. I would love to stay here again since they showed such great Tico hospitality--muchas gracias!

The owner was amazing. Cut us fruit when we arrived late and provided cold bottled water. Also helped us to figure out our transportation for the following day. Provided coffee and fresh juice the next morning as well as more fruit!! Truly so kind and welcoming.

This fit exactly the need we had which was a place to stay after a late landing in Liberia. It has AC!!!! It was the best lading spot I could imagine. No complaints whatsoever.

José even prepared three meals for me , I didn't think even ask for it . Congo Tempisque is like a little paradise with all the plants and the modern and clean facilities
