Thuy House Hoi An

We spent one week here in a deluxe room which is more like an apartment with a living area, small kitchen, bathroom and a big bedroom with a balcony. The accommodation is 5 stars and the bed was very comfortable. Pearl was a wonderful host and took good care of us with laundry, booking trips and organising an airport car at a good price. Thank you Pearl we hope to see you again 😊

The hostess is really welcoming and super helpful with anything you need! We actually booked a different room that she gave us, prolonged our stay and she only charged us for the cheaper room. We had a lot of space and a beautiful balcony. The island is much calmer than downtown, which we really enjoyed!

The location is excellent! The host was kind and allowed me to check in early which was 2:30 pm by the time I arrived.

I noticed hair and a mouse dropping on each pillow on one of the two beds in my room. I asked to move to another room. Which I did. I went to dinner. Upon my return I looked closely at the floor and noticed mouse droppings behind the headboard. I paid cash for one night and did not stay. I booked another hotel and left immediately.

The homestay was perfect. The location was a short 10 minute walk from the hustle and bustle of the old town, which really suited us. The homestay was clean, comfortable and most of all super spacious. I can’t stress enough that the photos really don’t do the place justice. Furthermore, the balcony provided a great outdoor space to relax. The owner was very accommodating, she did our laundry very cheap for 25k vnd/kg, rented us bikes, booked us vip sleeper bus tickets, for much less than 12Go, and was very knowledgeable about Hoi an

This place is definitely one of the better ones! My partner and I travel around Asia for 10 months and this spacious apartment was one of the best places we've had! The separate bedroom is top-notch, it even has a Dyson to purify the air quality. The bed is very comfortable and the balcony is a big plus for enjoying your breakfast in the morning. The wardrobe is even replenished with bathrobes and there is a large TV of fine quality. The kitchen has the facilities you need and if you are missing something, you can always kindly ask the host if you can borrow some more. The bathroom is clean and the shower is fine with hot water. The best value for money you can think of. Wifi is good & we worked here during our stay of 2,5 weeks and barely had any problems. You are kindly helped by Pearl who goes out of her way to make your stay as pleasant as possible! We were given advice on making clothes and because she has worked in the trade for years, she was able to point out the right tailor for us. Btw, for a good restaurant, go to May, just next doors.

We didn't like the cleaning at one point, but after we said something about it, it was fixed right away.

Staying at Thuy House was wonderful, my husband and I really didn't want to leave, but it was time to move on. Great location, close enough to the center, but away from the city noise. Very spacious clean room, great view from the balcony to the palm garden, own kitchen, all amenities. The hostesses of the house, two sisters, are very friendly and kind. We felt at home, we were even invited to a family Christmas dinner. It was very pleasant and sweet. Thank you for your hospitality! We definitely recommend staying here

Thuy House was very spacious, the room was exceptionally clean, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the apartment was fitted with air-conditioning. We loved the cool tub, especially as we travelled to Hoi An in September, and it was steamy hot. When my husband and I arrived at our accommodation, the gracious hostess had a plate of refreshments for us. Thank you for taking such good care of us, and we highly recommend Thuy House to travellers who want to be within walking distance of the bustling Ancient centre of Hoi An. Great host, good location, clean and comfortable.

Had to acquire a few kitchen items but only minor things.

The apartment was spacious and clean. It was nice to be in walking distance to the old town but not in the very busy area. Pearl, the host is very warm and caring. She organised everything we needed, taxis, scooter hire, laundry and recommendations. She really made us feel at home!
