GBPearl is an excellent host, very kind, very welcoming and very generous. She gave me fruit, invited me for lunch and dinner, asked me to join her at her daily café. I loved the area, I give it a 10! I loved the spaciousness of the apartment, it is really luxurious to have two rooms! The bathroom has a large shower with masses of hot water. The wifi was excellent in the dining/living room and I was able to work from home. The best part for me was the terrace and the view over the garden and trees. Absolutely amazing and peaceful. I felt very safe (except when I was locked out!) there and very much part of the family. I recommend Pearl as a host 100% and I will definitely be back in her homestay. Thank you Pearl.
I had to ask Pearl for towels and toilet paper, kitchenware, to clean the fridge and other requests, but they were all met. She unintentionally locked me out two nights in a row, which was a bit disconcerting. The lock to my flat was messed up, it needs replacing. The cushion covers needed washing, the sofa cover could do with a wash. Two pillows smelt of greasy heads, my water boiler didn't work, neither did the plug in the corner of the kitchenette. It needs some maintenance and TLC! Cleaning needs to be done in the corners, plugs were covered in hair and dust. I think someone had just moved out after a long-term stay and the flat was not returned to its original clean state. I think the other apartments were more pristine. The wifi was excellent in the dining/living room but weak in the bedroom and on the terrace.
PLI can highly recommend staying at Thuy House! The place is amazing, not so far from city center if you have motorbike. The owner (Ngoc) is lovely and she can help you with anything. And there are those small things that make your staying special, like covering your motoribke when its raining or inviting you for breakfast. Thanks Ngoc! :)
FRGBIt has a very good location, walking distance to the old town. There is a shop near by and also very cheap bicycles rent not far from this property! The apartment was great, big and clean ! The host was very nice, she helped us with the bus tickets. I would highly recommend to stay there!
