Jungleview Home Stay

The location is fabulous. A lot of international tourists go to this place, some of them stay there weeks. Terrace is also very nice. The place looks perfectfor long journey backpackers. It is an oasis of calmness and good vibes. Natural proximity is fantastic, we stayed only 2 nights and we saw squirrels and monkeys in the trees.

We got clean towels and bed linen but they were very used. The bathroom entrance is an improvised door with rusty handle. The sanitary appliances in the bathroom really needs improvement. A lot of dust and dirty tables on the upper terrace. Also the floor of the room was not extremely clean. The common "kitchen" is an improvised hut with no basic hygiene.

Clean and cosy rooms, jungle view from the balcony. We saw more Animals here then during the safari. My daughter was very Happy! The staff, Babu and Sajeev, has been very helpful and nice. Highly Recommended!!

The hotel was located at the end of a street facing a wooded area with wildlife attend. The garden surrounding the building was quite lush. The host was always available and helpful in securing taxis and providing park information and tours. The rooms are very cheap.

Our first room felt damp and could have been cleaner(bathroom mirror was dirty and dust on shelving). We were also expecting a room with a balcony as described on the listing, but it was a first floor with a porch sitting area (maybe just an issue with semantics). The host kindly arranged to switch our room for the second night of our stay and the second room was an improvement.

The location, next to the forest with the monkeys and other animals around. Charming and very quiet place with helpful staff.

It was raining when we were there and the room remained very humid, as well as our clothes that were inside.

It is paradise for nature lovers. Reserved forest starts from the property's backside. I could see nest of tree ants from my room's window. A group of wild monkeys came to the property in the morning. Topmost room has beautiful view of jungle around. Owner is fond of antiques hence every area is beautifully decorated with very old articles. Location is just 5-7 min walk from main bus stand. A very good veg hotel is nearby main bus stand. Owner booked our tickets for shows of Kathakali and Kariya pattu. If you plan for Jeep safari, I will strongly recommend Vinu ji 8157889393 he has great understanding of area and is a very good photographer too.

There is no toiletories from owner's side.

This place is really a hidden gem especially for nature lovers. Locating at the quiet corner of the town and only short walk to everything, with a great forest as its backyard, we had a regular visitors like monkeys and birds. The staffs are super friendly,helpful and supportive. We enjoys this jungle view very much. Highly recommended ~
