"left early due to condition of the room, do not understand the booking.com ratings at all"

the location

dirty, mould, broken furniture, stains, too small room, bin not emptied after 3 days , wallpaper peeling off … had booked and paid for 5 nights and only stayed for three.. we had no choice to look for alternative as a busy weekend , arrived late on Friday night and left Monday morning. spent as little time as possible in the room . have used booking.com for approx 12 years and never been in one so poor .

"A lovely relaxing mini-break."

Everything was excellent - breakfast items were available in room. This meant guests are able to choose time for breakfast, and also to make drinks in between times. Very well-equipped room, also ensuite with all toiletries you could require.

Perhaps the room is a little small, but is fine for a couple of nights. Everything else was great.

"Disappointing at best"

The location was good as it was close to a site visit we had to attend. The bed was quite comfortable as for everything else, judge for yourself.

Most of everything else, to be honest. The property was not well signed posted. The room had basic decoration and was cramped with unsusable furniture. It was set up for what was assumed covid measures over 2yrs ago, but never changed. The breakfast was a help yourself to cereal and white bread to toast left in the room. The toaster was aggressive and set the fire alarm off. The en suite was large but freezing even though the heating was on. In the morning, nobody appeared even though we called out before leaving the property. We were not impressed at all and have no idea how it managed to get the high ratings through booking.com
