Cornmill House, With Outstanding Sea Views In Garlieston

Sea views were lovely, nice quiet village, safe community, good pub food literally just down the road. Clean accommodation, friendly owners, TV and hot large shower. Parking no issues.

Nothing - if I had to be picky I’d say the toaster needs to be a little bit bigger for the bread to fit properly and the bed may be too soft for some people. They would literally be the only things I could say were not absolutely perfect!

Beautiful views, room has everything you would need for a long or short stay. Landlord just let us do our own thing and we hardly knew that they were there.

Although breakfast was available my wife and I, we did not partake of this facility. As previous visitors have commented, the owner has thought of practically everything you could need, including things you might have forgotten to pack - even down to Aspirin! If you have not got it, it will magically appear. The booklet with notes on what shops and facilities are around and where interesting sites are and how to get to them is perhaps the most comprehensive I have seen anywhere -even down to tide times. Thoroughly recommended.

The overhead lights in the bathroom could be better sited nearer to the mirror so that you are not looking with a shadow darkening your view when shaving, make up etc.

It was an exceptional place to stay quiet and peaceful by the sea. The host Tris and his wife made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble! Thoroughly recommended!
