Jen's Friendly Place

Jenny is very friendly and a nice person Parking was fine The room was extremely clean, quiet and has a lovely view over the garden and open park beyond. Bed comfortable. TV was large and good The next door bathroom was clean and the shower perfect. Nice touch was things left in the room should you have forgotten them - also a chocolate bar (which was nice) and a small bottle of water. Despite my negative comments I would recommend this stay - just go / be prepared.

I did not like the fact that there was no kettle in the room - even worse I was not allowed to use my travel kettle. I was quoted safety issues but TV's are more dangerous than kettles! All I wanted was a mug, kettle and water. The only way to get hot water for a drink was to go down to the kitchen which would have set off the dogs barking - and as I like to make a drink early I felt reluctant to do this on a Sunday and wake Jenny and her partner up which was a real pain. I was offered a cup of tea when I was leaving - but I hate tea, and that was several hours after I wanted some hot water. I am a seasoned traveller and also rent out rooms and for half the price my guests have many more facilities.

We did not receive breakfast. We were not aware that we should receive breakfast and none was offered

The room was a bit cold initially but the duvet provided warmth.

Jen and Paul were such kind hosts. The home itself is so comfortable,tidy,located in a beautiful place with a nice park to walk around. The two little pup's were so friendly and there's not a bad thing anyone who's stayed here could say.

Lovely small room, large window to open to keep the room cool. Was even offered a cup of tea on arrival, plenty of condiments if you forget any, Inc a bottle of water. Room and bathroom very clean and tidy, polite friendly couple. Would recommend.

TV hardly worked, was very jumpy on many of the stations, so left it off. Comfy bed, but if your over 6"2, your be touching the walls end to end.

The bed was comfy, the views stunning , nice area, friendly hosts, lots of extras in a toiletry box, very clean . Loved the dogs, super cute and friendly. Was like a home from home

Nothing not to like , would definitely stay again and highly recommend
