Nice room in a family home

Nothing as didn't get to stay felt like i was an inconvenience to the host

The fact its a double bed, you would assume 2 people would be fine, host said to pay cash for the extra person, felt like me booking was an issue for her awful

Very comfy bed and pretty decore, with a spacious private bathroom.

The room was warm the first evening as the heating was on but no further heating was put on so the shower room was cold and we didn't feel able to have a shower. Our towel was wet from use the first day as the radiator was not on.We used the portable electric heater in the room but the bottom of it was full of dust not good. We understand the need to have the back door open as the 3 dogs needed to go out but this meant the air was cold. We had use of a fridge and microwave which was good but the microwave lowered casing was rusty and the bowls for our use 1 wasn't clean. We had to wear our thermal underwear under our pyjamas too sleep. The owner said we must be cold sensitive . I did point out my husband was 86 and I am 82 so not in the flush of youth. We were disappointed. We'd also dropped an item and when we used our walking stick to retrieve it realised there was an awful lot of dust under the bed . We had stayed before and had a different experience. The owners daughter was very helpful. The owner was pleasant. Janet Gibson

It was good value. No breakfast but was offered the facility to use the kitchen.
