A very beautiful old house surrounded by a lovely garden and palm trees. We booked a room with en suite bathroom, but the bathroom was outside our room. But since it was only for our use, it was fine. The house is very well equipped and we felt very comfortable. The hosts were not at home during our stay, but we had all information we needed, including the code for the key - safe.

This was a beautiful property and it was a privilege to stay there for a night. The hosts were very welcoming and generous in spite of our late arrival, which was kind. Breakfast was first class.

The plumbing was somewhat disconcerting in our room, but in a property of this vintage that wasn’t unexpected.

It is a beautiful, spacious old house with lovely native woods giving a warm feeling. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful, happy to give local information on restaurants etc. Our room was large and comfortable with an en suite, and my husband enjoyed the large claw foot bath in the shared bathroom also. Our only slight disappointment was that other reviews has stressed 'excellent breakfasts' so we has expected cooked breakfast to be offered. There was plenty of food to help ourselves to including eggs to cook (no bacon) - it was just not what we expected.
