Lovely homestay. Great breakfast. Super location to tour the Hampi sites and Lakshmi was incredibly helpful - going above and beyond to help with our ongoing travel plans. We had a wonderful stay here.

Everyone was very helpful, including our rikshaw driver Mustafa who showed us around during our four days. Breakfast was great and our rooms were comfortable and cool.

The location is fine, but not ideal, you need a rikshaw to see any of the sights or go for lunch/dinner.

Owners are lovely and very helpful. Mattress very comfortable. Walkeable into town. Plenty of filtered water on tap.🙏

The host was gracious. Tea and breakfast was good. A clean place, but a little expensive for the facilities provided.

Absolutely no place to keep your clothes/belongings. No cupboard, and we were a group of 4. So, our stuff was all over the place. The view from our room was not good - looking out into an empty site with stray dogs barking all night long.

Mango Tree Homestay makes for a great base for exploring the Hampi area. The rooms are spotlessly clean and the mattresses and pillows are soooo comfy. The host was kind to arrange taxi pickup to the property and a rickshaw driver to take us from site to site (thanks, Mustafa!), both at good rates. Breakfast in the morning is a simple but tasty omelet with toast. For dinner, you can walk 15 minutes to Mango Tree Restaurant or have it brought to you. It’s a perfectly safe walk, and you pass by a lot of enthusiastic kids who are excited to greet foreigners.

Bring earplugs if you are sensitive to noise. You never know if there will be dogs fighting right outside in the middle of the night; otherwise, it’s very quiet.
