West Looe Downs

Street parking outside. Drive down the hill to the Looe and park in the car park at the bottom of the hill, which has EV chargers, which was great as we needed a charge after coming back from Lands End and needed some electrons before heading to Lyme Regis and Poole. #EVRally from London to Lands End.

Homely and very welcoming

David was friendly and welcoming and room was exactly what we needed.

Only negative was the steps down to the property (and up to get out) although David carried the bags for us!

Very helpful & sincere host

We didn't notice in the description that there was no kitchen. There was a just a jug, tea making equipment. Ok if you are prepared for that.

Quiet and clean room with comfortable bed. David is a friendly, helpful host.

I was fine with the location being a kilometer walk up from town, but I was hiking the coastal trail anyway. If you are taking the bus, the bus stop gets you 90% of the way up the hill. If you have large luggage, the room might be a bit small for two people.

David's house has a very convenient location to walk around Looe, the room was clean and comfortable, everything we needed for our short stay. David is a great host who gave us a warm welcome and good recommendations to discover the area.
