West Looe Downs

The en-suite room was on the ground floor with the owner David living upstairs. We felt safe as two sisters together. David was available and friendly. The property is up a huge hill out of town and then down steps to the front door, it didn’t bother us, as we are fit and walk everywhere and there was a strategically placed bench half way up to catch your breath and admire all the stars! The walk down into Looe is lovely, with lots of bars, restaurants to choose from.

The mattresses were squeaky and dipped into the middle.

Literally the only thing to let this room down was the comfort of the bed.

Emplacement sur les hauteurs de la ville. Il vaut mieux être en forme si on ne veut pas prendre la voiture!

David was a great host and the room/bathroom was great. He was very welcoming. We did wonder what it might be like to stay in someone's home but it couldn't have been more pleasant. Our room was literally by the entrance. We had a private ensuite with a toilet, sink, bath and shower - and coffee/tea provisions. He left us to it, but was very quick to respond if we had a question. Location-wise - Looe is very difficult to park in, and expensive. It's only about a 15 minute' walk to the harbour. The street was so quiet, which is important to me (if you ignore the seagulls, but you're by the sea, no choice!). I highly recommend staying at David's home. Will happily return.

La struttura è in cima alla collina, è necessario fare una salita molto ripida per raggiungerla.

La cordialità e accoglienza di David. Camera pulita e parcheggio comodo e gratuito di fronte alla struttura.

Nulla. Unico appunto è la posizione non proprio centrale ma a una quindicina di minuti dal porto, la spiaggia e i locali

David was awesome. He was friendly and attentive. He was also informative about the area and things to do nearby.
