Lovely host, went out of his way to help us- showing us into town., and giving us instructions on how to get to the accommodation. We went in and out without any problems as the route was straight forward once we knew.

All was good- it was basic but we expected this. Big hill to get back up to room - may not be everyone’s cup of tea but we didn’t mind the exercise. 12 minutes to town, buses and taxis available if needed.

Comfortable stay. Pleasant welcome.

Location was quite away from Looe centre. Safe road directions should be stated .

No breakfast was expected so didn't get any! Just great accommodation and facilities. Be warned though - I approached the room by bicycle and soon found out that I had to walk from the town immediately upwards. This was fine and I got on with it. It took me about 45 minutes for a relatively short distance because I had to stop 4 or 5 times to recover my strength. I'm 75. Going down to the town on foot on my 2nd day was a dream and made it in 20 minutes. Sat in JJ's bar to watch the FA cup final which was a great event. JJ's was a great atmosphere. Unfortunately, after a couple of beers I had to face going back up and thought I was going to have a heart attack. Be warned - you must be in a car for this to work. I don't think an E bike would make the climb. Looe is well worth a visit - very friendly locals - just breath taking river type surrounds.

Too steep for elderly!

Comfy beds, decent shower, lots of tea & coffee.

David was very helpful, offering us recommendations for places to dine and provided us with info on the local taxis. The room was comfortable and had everything we needed.
