Super food , clean room, friendly owner

The hosts were so friendly and helpful giving information about what to do in the area. The breakfast was really good and the room was clean and the shower was really good. Location was so close to the beach and also a short walk to the centre of town. A lot of restaurants and cafes close by.

The room was a little bit small and dark but still really good value for money!

the staff was not as warm as in the booking comments. not very smiley and no conversation with us. a little disappointed

The room is big, and I absolutely loved the woman working there. She was the sweetest :)

Not very social

Hosts are amazing and helpful. We also went fishing with Manu. Breakfast is plentiful and good. The rooms were very clean. The location is excellent since it is close to the centre but in a quiet area. And it is also very close to the beach. I highly recommend the place.

The hosts of the place, Manu and Shashi, are people of great heart! Very helpful, friendly, and always smiling. The place has all you need. Hot shower, air con, fan, comfortable bed. There is plenty of outdoor space to chill out. You can order there a dinner made from fresh fish and seafood caught by Manu. Very Yummy 😋 Additionally, Menaka is close to the beach, restaurants, and the town centre. But really, you go there to make a great friendship. Manu and Shashi, we miss you ♥️

Clean and comfortable budget accommodation. Great value. The family that run the homestay are very kind and helpful. Decent WiFi, hot water and AC, all at a very reasonable price. Highly recommended.

This has been the best Homestay I had in Sri Lanka so far. The level of hospitality, kindness and overall nice atmosphere, is unmatched. The location is perfect - very close to the center and beach, but hidden enough for you to feel comfortable. The rooms are simple but have everything you need. The breakfast with fresh fruit was also really good. The owners however are the main reason this place is so amazing - humble, kind, true and helpful. I only wish I stayed longer. Thank you very much!
