Quiet and cosy

Jill and Tom were welcoming and friendly. They went out of their way to help us with our very dirty cycles. House was immaculately clean and very comfortable. We were made to feel at home.

The owners were exceptionally pleasant, helpful and accommodating. Weather was atrocious during my stay and I had previously intended to walk to accommodation and function I was attending. Hosts happily drove me the short distance to and from the railway station and to my function which was way above and beyond any expectation but very much appreciated.

I chose to stay in the smaller of the two rooms as I was on my own. I would have liked to have had a lounge chair to relax in but used the bed which was perfectly fine. There was probably insufficient room for a chair anyway.

Host was very friendly. The property was spotless and it’s in a quiet location.

Very friendly, helpful hosts. Great outdoor areas. Close to the station with frequent trains to Wellington.
