Regent Guest House

Great location for a function at the football club. All I needed was a bed for the night, and this provided what was required. Even though it was pretty "functional", it was spotlessly clean and well maintained.

I had to phone the place to find out how to get in - there's a Ring doorbell, but it's tucked up at the top of the doorframe out of sight (and out of reach for many people I would assume). The room was small and a bit cramped with 2 beds in it, but as I was only using it as a bed for the night it didn't make much difference.

There is no breakfast included it's just somewhere to sleep and the photo of the room is completely misleading. Also the step going into the communal shower room is dangerous I tripped on it a few times.

It was cold and the bed was uncomfortable with only a thin duvet

Seems a very strange overall place. Unsure on how to get into the guest house as there is just a black door. Seemed more of a hostel than a guest house. No one to meet and great except a young male whom I believe perm lives at the house Was clean but not overly clean. Mold in bathroom, plug socket coming away from wall. Wires from tv appliance dangling down the wall including extension. Corner shower far too small. Not very good value for money, area where guest house was is in a very rough and criminal area.
