Minh Quang homestay

The staff were super kind, the double room with lake view was really nice, and the place is really peaceful. We recommend for a couple!

We felt that dinner isn’t enough and asked for more food

The women who run the place are super nice and helpful. The food is great, there are vegetarian options and the little coffee shop run by one of the girls has very good options. The view is amazing!

The beds are not really comfortable

The terrace with stunning views. Atmosphere, there is a good opportunity to meet travelers from different countries. Room was clean.

The view from my room wasn't exactly the "Lake View"

Generally very good, from food to facilities. Deck view includes paddies, forest, and one of the few houses still with traditional style.

Would be nicer with yellow light on the deck, instead of bright white bulbs. But everything was quite nice.

Everything! The view from the balcony with the lake and the rice fields, the kindness of the family, the great common room to chill or work, the huge and amazing breakfast and dinner. We also book some kayaks to enjoy the lake. Definitely the best place to enjoy Ba Be

Great room and facilities - plenty of bathrooms, drinking water, amazing views from the large common area. Friendly hosts - limited English but we used Google translate. The boat trip offered by the hostel offered wonderful scenery - I highly recommend the 5 hour trip as the short ones don't get out into the most beautiful parts of the river. Also the close sightseeing sights (Fairy Pool, temple) were extremely underwhelming, whereas the cave was cool and the best part of the boat trip was the journey along the river. They cooked dinner and breakfast for us each day (very limited other food options). Cycle to the Hua Ma cave! It's awesome and an easy 6km cycle from the homestay!

We would have loved some advice/information on what we could see and do in the area. There was a poster about boat trips (the homestay has its own boat so they run the boat trips themselves) but no other information about what to see, possible walks or cycle rides.
