Ram Bhawan Residency

Ram Bhawan is an authentic oasis in Varanasi. The staff is incredible, the residency beautiful, and the rooms extremely cozy. And the cafe on the terrace is extraordinary. I really loved the days I spent there and it made the trip to the city unforgettable. It's a great place to meet other travelers and you can also do authentic Yoga with a local teacher there. I will definitely recommend this place to all those travelling to Varanasi. Thank you!

Great place, friendly people making you feel at home. Breakfast is great, location as well. Would recommend if you wanna stay in chaotic Varanasi and yet have a calm place when you want to rest

The residency is at 1 km walk through the lanes from the main road so it's better to ask for a porter in advance (unless you only have a backpack). Before booking, I asked for a room with a private bathroom, but they told me that only shared bathrooms are available. The only room available on booking.com for rent has an uncomfortable bed and is very cold in winter. I wouldn't recommend it if you want a simple yet comfortable accommodation in Varanasi. For payment, they only accept cash.

The area in quite noisy and you can everything in the room. But nothing that a good set of earplugs cannot fix.
