Historic palace where Allen Ginsberg stayed, located in the heart of Varanasi, just a few steps from the beautiful Dashashwamedh Ghat. The hosts are very friendly, and guests have access to a kitchen, refrigerator, and drinking water. There is also a stunning panoramic terrace overlooking the Ganges. Among the services offered by the guesthouse, I had an exceptional Ayurvedic massage by Mrs. Suman—she is highly skilled, and I highly recommend her.

"A quality guest house very near main Ghat"

Great stay at the guest house for 2 nights. Very well situated near the main Ghats. Very friendly staff who helped us with everything we needed ! We will come back !

Location and Ambience

The property has open drain pipes which leaves a bad odour in the walk ways. The bathroom in the private room on the third floor does not have an exhaust and the water pressure is negligent in the shower.

The Residency itself is magic: old indian house, perfectly kept by an attentive property. Run by women- business, supporting young girls education and old Varanasi heritage.
